so, i slept 4 hours wed nite...spent 9 hours thurs nite on a bus...spent 9 hours fri nite coming back on the bus...got a total of about 9 hours of sleep from wed til sat. lol...my body is NOT happy with me.

sooo new york this past weekend + du formal, lots of papers this week, cincinnati this weekend for SIFE competition, tests papers and projects during the week, home sweet home for the weekend, then more tests, then carnival!!!! and then...more tests? lol...mmmm life. |

spring break <3 why did you have to end?
i spent 10 wonderful and expensive days with my cmu loves lauren and rex. i came back with close to no money in my bank account...and of course, it was raining in pittsburgh. and with a motivation to make lots of money so we can 1-buy a house on lake como, next to george's, 2-create a mobile island, so we can vacation anytime, anywhere and 3-to go shopping on via montenapoleone and co. lol...

so all in all it was a lovely trip...i'm jetlagged and sleepy and i absolutely do not want to study. but oh well. it's friday. i miss lauren...and rex...and gelato...and pizza...lol...carnival? |

it's the third week of school now...and from sunday until thursday i work approx 20 hours a day...but thursday night until saturday are really nice...
gotta figure out how to plan my schedule out a little better. but...one class mw, no class friday? can't complain THAT much...
now i just have to get an id...haha, i hate waiting for everyone to come home from dollar drinks! sucks being a baby...

other than that...life has been good. chill...i have to read 90 pages of spanish every couple of days (killer) and case studies suck. and i do need to get on a finding a goddamn internship...but i'm going to ITALY for spring break to see my LAUREN!!! that's very very exciting...

whoah is all i can say for the last two weeks. i've had some incredibly great times, some incredibly awful times...some really fucking random times...and on continues the rollar coaster named "joy's life"

i decided to post all of my pictures...because, lets face it, doing pointless things like this is waaayyy more fun than stats or productions.
in a few minutes...i will be on the radio. oh my...don't ask. just wish me luck.
i kicked ass for midsemester grades...one can only hope that i maintain them. lol, lord knows my gpa needs it.
undergraduate marketing organization is sexy...you should join it. haha, we're hosting a community service event at a bar, and we're raising money for animals that were victimized by the hurricanes (yappy hour) and we got someone from THE STEELERS to come speak to us...yay.
anyway...that's about all that's been going on in my life. my throat kind of hurts, but echinacea is saving my life...i've relearned how to knit (sexy), i'm running now (it's been a whole 3 days in a row...or not lol).
i finally watched the penguin movie - i want a penguin for christmas!!! and i can't wait for harry potter!!!!!

oh yeah...and i was on the radio. i'm not a good radio person...i almost peed myself, my palms were sweaty, my throat hurt...lol...ooh sexy. it's hard to remember english when ur put on the spot like that...haha oh well...

haven't updated in a while...i've been forgetting to take pictures. but it's been a wild time at 5149...we promote slavery, evade the campus police, bake plastic, microwave metal spoons, decorate with rotting carrots and fuel perk balloons that we've "won," puke inside and out, walk around naked, bake...like good little housewives, drink...like good little college students, and eat like crazy. we're sassy, obese, and more obese. yay!
i love my roommates like whoah :-D
but yeah...despite our run-ins with the law and angry parents, it's been a good year so far. lets see...what have i done. well, i'm now events chair for rotaract, co-project leader of sife ywca entrepreneurship project, and vice president of the marketing club...i have been to all finance classes except for two (one was a recitation) and most of my other classes as well. i'm doing pretty well in all teh classes i thought were going to be hard, and i'm not doing so well in the easy classes...but oh well. what else...i still breathe, eat and sleep drama, as though it were my life...and really, i wouldn't mind not having any...but shit happens. i now do more work for my organizations than i do my classes...i drink more coffee than i did before...i've watched more movies in this last week than i have the entire semester, i still suck at pong...
i miss spain. a lot. crazy pittsburgh's just not teh same. but yeah...other than that, all's well. hope to update with pictures soon...

and wow, time goes by so quickly. spain was absolutely amazing. i could easily live there for a couple years :-D. i dont' even kno what else to say about it, lol...some of the most amazing buildings i've ever seen, great ice cream, shopping, sangria, wine, art museums, concerts, easy traveling...aaahhh, europe is wonderful. my only complaint? guys (and girls) wearing mullets. i can do man-pris, man purses...but mullets!!?? ccrrraaazzzyyy....

so this was the longest post ever, if it actually does post i hope you complainers/stalkers are happy now. spain was awesome...basically if u didn't get a sense of what we did from the pictures...i went a week before my program started, and hung out in sevilla, tarifa and granada with timmy. we wanted to go to morrocco, but got scared and didn't want to spend a shitload of money...so we bummed around on the beach instead. then, we met up with our program, and we saw museo del prado and el palacio real in madrid. we stopped by el valle de los caidos and el escorial in san lorenzo on our way to toledo. in toledo, we saw greco's entierro painting, the catedral, bumped in to two cmu guys there...lol, of all places...i don't even see them in pittsburgh too often...then we went to salamanca, via avila. spent a week in salamanca, then the weekend in santender. spent another week in salamanca, then a day in segovia. then the weekend after was portugal, then alicante, then barcelona and then angie came to visit and then i went back to madrid. lisboa was awesome...portuguese ppl are very very nice and the guys, of course, are very romantic...lol. we got to listen to the traditional fado and that was a really awesome experience. the streets were very slippery...lol, goddamn tile thingys...alicante was just a chill beach weekend. nothing special or insanely crazy...just another spanish beach...where fat women are confident and wear thongs and go topless. lol...hot women too. barcelona was awesome, i love the city...and yes nuveen, tapies is an artist even though u dont' like his art.
ok...so with that said...i hope everyone's still alive and well...or at least awake. cuz this was a long post. ok i'm going to go hang out with scotty...bye loves! |
